Services such as low-cost or free legal aid.

  • AIDS Legal Referral Panel (SF) - A center with providing free and low-cost legal services to those with HIV/AIDS. These services include housing, bankruptcy/credit, immigration, employment, insurance, confidentiality matters, family law, government benefits, and public accommodations.

  • San Francisco Human Services Agency (SF) - Legal help for immigrants including immigration screening, detention and deportation, asylum, citizenship and green card, DACA renewal, trafficking victims.

  • Oasis Legal Services (SF) - An organization providing legal services to low-income members of the LGBTQ+ community, including screening for immigration relief, affirmative asylum, residency, citizenship, and family petitions.

  • The LGBT Asylum Project (SF) - A nonprofit organization providing legal representation for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers fleeing persecution due to discrimination from their sexual orientation, gender identity, or HIV status.

  • Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (SF) - A service based on providing legal and social advocacy for the immigrant community.

  • Asian Women’s Center (SF) - A center providing support for victims of domestic violence and human-trafficking, with a focus on immigrants and refugees.

  • Bayanihan Equity Center (formerly the Veterans Equity Center) (SF) - A nonprofit organization providing services to low-income seniors, families, people with disabilities, immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community, formerly incarcerated, and homeless individuals. Services include case management, counseling, free legal clinic, health services, and housing assistance.

  • City of San Francisco San Francisco Resources for Survivors of Gender-based Violence - Developed by the Department on the Status of Women (DOSW), the Office of Sexual Harassment and Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP), and the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH), this website lists resources for people experiencing gender-based violence in San Francisco.

  • La Raza Community Resource Center (SF) - La Raza is a bilingual, multi-service, non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the social service, immigration, educational, and leadership development needs of low-income families and individuals.

  • Mission Neighborhood Resource Center (SF) - A center that serves the unhomed population and focuses on community building, basic human needs, and integrated health services for a diverse population as they move toward greater stability and well being. MNRC offers services that are bilingual, free of charge and available on a drop-in basis.
